Strategy

Partnerships and Collaborations

VF continues to advance inclusion and diversity within the workplace and has partnered with external organizations to reinforce our commitment.

Internally, we have created our Executive Inclusion and Diversity Council (EIDC) to help guide our global I&D Strategy by building and maintaining a highly inclusive culture that celebrates the diversity of our associates and understanding the multicultural marketplace. The EIDC is led by our CEO and includes business leaders from around the world.

Our Global Women’s Advisory Council (GWAC) was formed to support our commitment to achieve gender parity throughout our senior leadership by 2030. The GWAC strives to help VF become an employer of choice by being a force for change for issues impacting women, investing in the growth and development of women within our company, and creating opportunities for women to lead around the world.

Externally, we’ve committed to the Camber Outdoors CEO Pledge, which commits to gender diversity as a visible priority within the active-outdoor industry. The pledge promotes the leadership of women and aims to expand business growth by attracting and retaining a skilled workforce that reflects the demographics of all outdoor enthusiasts.

Our partnership with CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion allows VF to continue important dialogue and spur meaningful action to enhance and cultivate an inclusive workplace. CEO Action is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace. This commitment is driven by a realization that addressing diversity and inclusion is not a competitive issue, but a societal issue. CEOs recognize that change starts with them. At VF, we want to ensure that we remain a community that welcomes, appreciates, and values the differences that makes each movement maker unique.

VF joined the Paradigm for Parity movement because we want to show our commitment to achieving a new norm in the corporate world. Paradigm for Parity is dedicated to addressing the corporate leadership gender gap. The movement comprises of a coalition of business leaders dedicated to addressing the corporate leadership gender gap and creating a new norm in the corporate world: one in which women and men have equal power, status and opportunity. Companies that have pledged with Paradigm for Parity are taking steps towards making real changes from within to establish gender equality.

With a global workforce that spans more than 65,000 associates and a worldwide customer base, VF's ability to meet the needs of both audiences is imperative to our future success.
